Hugh Laurie Wants Stephen Fry For House

Hugh Laurie is trying to land his old Jeeves and Wooster buddy, Stephen Fry, a role in his hit TV show House.
Hugh was taking part in a special Q&A with fans at the The Paley Centre for Media in LA when he revealed:
“I can only oil the wheels as much as I can and I keep dropping his name,”
“I keep saying ‘he’s alright really, despite what you may think’, but it’s obviously a question of finding the right role, the right moment.”
Hugh added: “The bloke’s never off the television. He’s off doing documentaries around the world about the panda or whatever it is. He’s quite hard to get and very expensive. I’m not sure we could afford him!”
Show creator David Shore wouldn’t rule out the possibility, saying:
“Stephen Fry I’d love to see. It is such a huge thing that I wouldn’t want to do it unless it was absolutely right, but I want to do it and I want to do it absolutely right.”
