For the last four months, I Own Britain’s Best Home on Five, has hunted down some of the most stunning properties in the UK. Over the course of eight heats, architectural designer Charlie Luxton, interiors consultant Melissa Porter and property developer Russell Harris have put 24 dream homes through their paces as live in house-guests.

Every week, they’ve asked the audience to choose which of the three featured homes was the most desirable, and every week, viewers have voted. There’s now a shortlist of eight contenders for the overall title… but which of them owns Britain’s Best Home.

For I Own Britain’s Best Home: The Final, on Thursday, 15th May at 8pm, all the homeowners whose homes have won their heat will be brought together for the first time at an exclusive London location. There’ll be a chance for a second look at the highlights from each of these spectacular winning properties, from the breathtaking sea views of Kent renovation which captured the hearts of viewers of the first heat, to the sumptuous boutique-hotel interiors of the super-luxurious Victorian Folly voted favourite in week four.

We’ll hear more from the owners of all eight winning properties on the lengths they’ve gone to create their remarkable homes and what winning their heat has meant to them. Celebrity experts will also be revealing what they’ve loved about the I Own Britain’s Best Home contenders, and our three expert presenters will share their specialist perspectives on the best of architecture, design and interiors from across the series. But the eight rivals for the title won’t be able to forget that they’re there for one reason and one reason only. Who will win the £25,000 prize and the right to say I Own Britain’s Best Home?
