Is Patterson Joseph The Next Doctor Who?
Phillip Rhys, star of 24 and new BBC drama, Survivors made a bit of a slip up in a recent BBC News interview and seems to be in the know about who will play the next Doctor Who.
David Tennant announced last month that after 2010 he would no longer be playing the doctor and Rhys seems to think that former peep show actor, Patterson Joseph has been lined up for the role.
Watch the video below and let us know your thoughts on Joseph and whether he would do the role justice.

I THINK PATERSON JOSEPH WOULD MAKE AN EXCELLENT DOCTOR WHO, I AM LOVING HIS PORTRAYAL OF THE CHARACTER IN SURVIVORS AT THE MOMENT. I CAN’T BELIEVE THERE ARE SO MANY “FANS” WHO OBJECT TO IT BASED ON THE COLOUR OF HIS SKIN. HE IS AN EXCELLENT ACTOR AND THE CHARACTER OF THE DOCTOR CAN HAVE WHATEVER BODY/ FACE/ SKIN ETC HE WANTS/ CAN. GO PATERSON!!!!!!!!!!!!
I have never seen him act
i love David Tennant but i’m up for a new Doctor.
I would never object to anything based on the colour of skin.
Its digusting people do !!

My only question mark on him is that he does tend to overact at times. But until I see him in the role I will reserve judgment.
It is set in stone…Paterson Joseph IS the new doctor who, and i am very much looking forward to it. There is a lot of protest because of his race, but I think he will be great for the role.
He is said to have signed a long contract for the role also.
