Earlier this week, it was confirmed that legendary band Fleetwood Mac would be headlining the Sunday night of the 2015 Isle Of Wight festival.
The Isle Of Wight festival will take place in June, and three new huge names have been added to the line-up including The Prodigy and Pharrell Williams.
Other than Reading and Leeds, Isle Of Wight is the only other major festival to reveal a number of acts who set to grace the events this year…
And as mentioned above, Fleetwood Mac were confirmed earlier in the week – as expected – as a world festival exclusive, putting all expectations and hopes of seeing them at Glastonbury this year to bed.
Last year’s Isle Of Wight festival featured a host of big names including Biffy Clyro and Red Hot Chili Peppers, and this year is going to be no different.
‘Happy’ hitmaker Pharrell Williams and festival icons The Prodigy have been confirmed to appear at the festival, while US band The Black Keys have also been added to the line-up that will no doubt attract many new fans if the line-up continues to draw such big names.
Promoter John Giddings commented on the news, saying: “I think younger bands of course can do it as well, but the golden age of rock and roll is past.”
As mentioned above, Fleetwood Mac, who are on tour next year anyway, have been confirmed as to headline the Sunday night at the festival on the 14th of June, and on the Friday night (June 12th) your co-headline acts will be The Prodigy and The Black Keys, with the Saturday night headliner (June 13th) still to be announced.
