The iTunes Festival returns tonight for a performance from English singer-songwriter Jessie J who today has released her second studio album ‘Alive’.

While the festival is now in its final week (as it ran all through the month – if you haven’t been keeping track) but we still have some very big names to play including Justin Timberlake and Katy Perry.

Jessie J was born in March 1988 in London England. Studying at the BRIT School it was sure bet that she would see success at some point as many who have studied there previously have went on to become big names.

When the star got snapped up by Universal she shot to fame with her debut single ‘Do It Like A Dude’ which was released as a digital download in November 2010 and a physical copy was made available in January 2011.

Following the release of her debut track Jessie J went on to release ‘Price Tag’ which topped the charts in nineteen countries including the UK, France and Ireland.

Jessie J then released her debut album ‘Who Are You’ in 2011 which featured the tracks ‘Nobody’s Perfect’, ‘Who’s Laughing Now’ and ‘Who You Are’.

The fifth single from the album ‘Domino’ peaked at number 6 on the Billboard Hot 100 in the US and became the stars second UK number one single.

Jessie J has also appeared on the BBC talent show ‘The Voice UK’ where she was a coach alongside Tom Jones, Will.I.Am and Danny O’Donoghue (The Script).

Supporting Jessie J tonight and taking to the stage at 7:45pm are London based band Lawson who since releasing their debut album ‘Chapman Square’ in 2012 have had five UK top 20 singles.

When Lawson released ‘Chapman Square’ on the 22nd October 2012 it reached number 4 in the Official Albums Chart in the UK and 37 in the Irish Albums Chart.

Remember, as always you can watch both performances tonight for free on iTunes – which is also available on smartphones and tablet devices.
