Tonight marks the penultimate performance at the 2013 iTunes Festival and Justin Timberlake will take to the stage tonight to wow the packed Roundhouse audience live from London.
What a month it has been, some of music’s biggest performers have taken part in the month long festival and tomorrow night marks the end of another great festival when Katy Perry takes to the stage.
Justin Timberlake is a household name by now. I’m pretty sure I could ask anyone if they knew the name and probably only a few (a handful) may not have heard of him.
The former N*Sync star launched his solo career during a hiatus of the group back in 2002 where he released his solo albums ‘Justified’ back in 2002 and ‘FutureSex/LoveSounds’ which he released 2006.
His debut album ‘Justified’ saw success with hits such as ‘Señorita’, ‘Cry Me A River’ and ‘Rock Your Body’ among others. It also reached Number 1 in the Official Albums Chart in the UK and Number 2 in the Billboard 200 in America.
‘FutureSex/LoveSounds’ saw five major singles come out of its release including ‘Sexyback’, ‘My Love’, ‘What Goes Around… Comes Around’, ‘LoveStoned/I Think She Knows’ and finally ‘Until The End Of Time’ was released following the deluxe version of the album.
From around 2007 Justin Timberlake took a break from music and turned his attention to acting where he took on roles in ‘The Social Network’, ‘Bad Teacher’, ‘In Time’ and ‘Friends with Benefits’.
In 2013 though he returned to music again with his third studio album ‘The 20/20 Experience’ (his fourth ‘The 20/20 Experience: 2 of 2 ‘ is due out tomorrow – 30th September).
The third album brought tracks such as ‘Suit & Tie’, ‘Mirrors’ and ‘Tunnel Vision’. The album reached Number 1 both here in the UK and in America.
Justin Timberlake will take to the stage live in London from 9pm and prior to his performance we’ll see Mikky Ekko take to the stage from 7:45pm who famously wrote ‘Stay’ which went on to become a huge hit for Rihanna.
