The iTunes Festival is on it’s third day and so far Lady Gaga and Sigur Ros have taken to the stage with plenty more to come.

The festival which takes place in London runs to the end of September and tonight welcome The Lumineers with their support at PHOX.

Based in Denver, Colorado, folk rock band The Lumineers burst onto the scene with their infectious hit ‘Ho Hey’ which was taken from their self titled debut album.

The Lumineers began in 2005 as Wesley Schultz (lead vocals, guitar) and Jeremiah Fraites (drums, percussion) began writing together.

In 2010 Neyla Pekarek (cello, vocals) joined the band and The Lumineers were completed in 2012 when pianist Stelth Ulvang and Bass player Ben Wahamaki.

The Lumineers have gone on to play some of the worlds biggest and best venues including some big festivals including Glastonbury and T in the Park.

With their catchy folky sounding riffs it’ll be a perfect setting for The Lumineers to work their magic and play their best material. Who knows we might even get something new from the group.

Their performance tonight at the iTunes Festival is just another sign that the band show no sign of slowing down.

Twitter is a buzz of excitement from the band and fans alike ahead of tonight’s performance in London.

The Lumineers will take to the stage at the iTunes Festival tonight at 9pm Live on iTunes – which can be viewed on your computer or smartphone and tablet devices.

‘PHOX’ from Baraboo, Wisconsin¬†will be supporting The Lumineers which a performance beginning at 19:45 which is also available for streaming.
