iTunes Festival 2013 Day 4 Preview: We’re still into you Paramore!
Last night The iTunes Festival continued with a performance from The Lumineers who are probably best known for their hit ‘Ho Hey’.
We might be going into Day 4 of the iTunes Festival but we’ve still got the rest of the month to go and tonight the one and only Hayley Williams takes to the stage tonight with Paramore to shake things up a bit.
American rock band Paramore from Franklin, Tennessee, formed way back in 2004 and are led by the colourful, fiery Hayley Williams.
Including Hayley Williams the current lineup for the band consists of bassist Jeremy Davis, and guitarist Taylor York.
Paramore, who as we said have been around since 2004 have had four studio albums with their most recent being self titled and released back in April.
The first single from the new self titled album was released online back on the 22nd of January and was called ‘Now’. The second single from the album was released in March and is called ‘Still Into You’.
Before Paramore take to the stage tonight at the iTunes Festival electropop band Fenech-Soler will take to the stage at 19:45 to get the crowd pumped with a selection of their own hits to prepare the fans for Paramore at 9pm.
Fenech-Soler formed in 2006 and consists of four members: Ross Duffy, Ben Duffy, Daniel Fenech-Soler (hence the name of the band) and Andrew Lindsay.
The band since forming have had released one studio albums, their debut which was self titled back in 2010 and the ‘Rituals’ which will be released on the 16th of September.
Fenech-Soler have had a great backing from BBC Radio 1 and in particular DJ Greg James who named their single ‘Stop and Stare’ as the ’Record of the Week’ and ‘Weekend Anthem’.
The four piece will be a great support act for headliners Paramore tonight and both performances at the iTunes Festival tonight will definitely be worth watching.
If you haven’t heard Paramore before then here’s the official music video for one of their tracks ‘Ignorance’.
