Placebo

London are you ready? Tonight at the iTunes Festival, live from the Roundhouse it’s English rock band Placebo who are set to entertain you in person or from the comfort of your own home.

The month long festival is drawing towards its close, after weeks of epic gigs and concerts, but we have a few more shows to look forward to before iTunes ends for another year.

Tonight, English rock band Placebo will be taking to the stage. The group first formed in 1994 and so far have released seven studio albums, all of which have managed to enter the UK Top 20.

Worldwide they’ve seen a reasonable amount of success over the years too with around 11 million albums sold across the globe.

Most recently they released their seventh studio album ‘Loud Like Love’ which was made available on the 16th of September 2013.

The album was fairly well received with it charting at Number (13) on the Official Albums Chart here in the UK and reaching Number (1) on the Swiss charts.

The band have recently completed a tour or Russia and Europe and next month, following their performance in London tonight the band will be going across the pond.

Placebo

Placebo will perform eleven dates in the US before returning for more shows around Europe into November finishing up in Lisbon.

Scottish band The Mirror Trap will take to the stage before Placebo tonight at the Roundhouse as their support act. The band have already been touring with Placebo around Russia so they’re no stranger to their fans.

Will you be watching Placebo live from the Roundhouse in London tonight or will you have to watch online live millions around the world?

If you’re going for the latter then remember, you can access the live stream completely free of charge through iTunes, via your iOS device or your Apple TV.

Don’t forget to check back tomorrow when we’ll have yet another artist preview for the 2014 iTunes Festival – just incase you’re not sure who someone is. Check out Placebo live below.
