iTunes Festival Day 19 Preview: SBTRKT to take to the stage later tonight in London!

by Martin

Tonight at the iTunes Festival at the Roundhouse in London SBTRKT – pronounced ‘subtract’ will take to the stage to showcase his talents.

So far we’ve seen an incredible festival with some of the best artists taking to the stage and we’ve still got plenty to go until the end of the month.

SBTRKT, real name Aaron Jerome has remixed some of the biggest artists tracks including Basement Jaxx, Mark Ronson, Radiohead and M.I.A.

He’s also released a number of singles, EPs and even a self titled album, and his music proves very popular on BBC Radio 1 and BBC Radio 6 Music.

SBTRKT is used to maintaining anonymity, and has previously stated that he’d rather allow his music to speak for itself and the name is his way of taking away himself from the process.

The British producer is set to release his second studio album ‘Wonder Where We Land’ on the 22nd of September

‘Wonder Where We Land’ features a number of hit vocalists including British singer-songwriter Jessie Ware and we can’t help but wonder if she’ll appear tonight?

She performed at the iTunes Festival last night so is in the area and it would be great to hear the song they’ve been working on in a live capacity.

Are you going to see SBTRKT tonight at the iTunes Festival in London or will you be watching via the live stream – don’t forget, whatever you do, it’s not going to cost you a penny!

If you’re looking for the live stream you’ll be able to find it on your iTunes application, through your iOS device or via Apple TV.

While you wait check out SBTRKT in action below and make sure you stick with us for the rest of the month as we bring you daily previews of everyone left to perform.
