ITV Tries To Poach Alan Carr For Blind Date
ITV have reportedly tried to poach Friday Night Show host, Alan Carr, from Channel 4 in a bid to resurrect Blind Date.
An insider said: “ITV really want Alan to defect. They have been wanting to resurrect Blind Date for some time and reckon a gay host would be perfect.”
But although the comedian is said to be flattered, apparently he is still intending to sign a new contract will Channel 4 later this year.
