Rising star Jack McManus says his girlfriend Martine McCutcheon has been giving him advice about the tough music biz.
Actress Martine, most recently star of ITV1’s soap Echo Beach, has notched up five top 10 hits of her own including 1999’s No.1 Perfect Moment.
Casanova Jack told itv.com/music:” Martine has given me lots of advice and it’s been really helpful. She’s been there and done it, and knows how to do it well”… and what was her advice about the music business “Just to enjoy it, not to make it too stressful, if I put too much pressure on then before you know it, its over and you’ve just had years of stress”
The singer-songwriter has already been gaining rave reviews and making radio playlists, thanks to his catchy keyboard-led tunes - like new single Bang on The Piano, taken from his debut album Either Side of Midnight.
So will Jack be reigniting Martine’s career with a duet…” Maybe one day… I think if we did a duet, it would have to be a new [song] one – we’d have to write it together”
