James Sutton Leaving Hollyoaks

Hollyoaks actor James Sutton, aka John Paul, has revealed that he intends to leave the Channel 4 soap opera next month.

“I’m enjoying it - I’ve got another year left and then I’m going to leave,” he told TV Biz.

The 23-year-old plans to shake off his Hollyoaks image by taking on new, darker roles.

“I’d like to star in something really dark and nasty – maybe as a psycho killer,” he said.
“I did Trial and Retribution and played a murderer in that so anything along those lines would be cool.”
