Jamie Oliver is to make a new TV show for children, called Made With Magic to air on Nick Jr.
Made With Magic is described as a “TV show about cookery with a touch of magic”
The show will be made by Jamie’s production company Fresh One and although he will act as executive producer, he is unlikely to appear on the show.
Zoe Collins, head of Fresh One, said: “This is a huge opportunity for Fresh One Productions and we are dead excited about potentially producing a world class kids’ TV programme… with food as its central theme.”
Nickelodeon UK programming director Debbie MacDonald said: “At Nickelodeon we share Jamie’s passionate belief in the power of inspiring kids to take an active interest in food and where it comes from.”
