Celebrity chef, Jamie Oliver has confirmed that he is keen to put an end to his campaigns and crusades.

Oliver says that he and his family feel that it is time to go back to cooking, however he keeps being drawn back into campaigns by the numerous organisations and charities asking him for help.

“I want to stop and everyone else in my life wants me to stop, mainly Mum and Dad and the people I work with,” Oliver told Celebs On Sunday magazine. “I think they see it as a very negative part of my life because it attracts flak from the press.

“But the thing is, because the chicken campaign worked, I get phone calls from every Tom, Dick and Harry, even from Greenpeace and the RSPCA, asking if I can do their campaign next. I’m in a position to help them out and it seems there are some people out there who trust me.”
