Jasmine Thomas Is Leaving Emmerdale

There has been speculation of late that young actress, Jenna-Louise Coleman, would be taking a break from ITV soap Emmerdale, on which she plays the character of Jasmine Thomas.

However, The Daily Star have reported today that Jenna would not just be taking a break, but intends to leave the soap when her contract expires at the end of the year.

Emmerdale sources are keeping quiet about the storyline surrounding her exit, but one thing is for sure, they have no intention of killing her off!

New executive producer Anita Turner told the newspaper: “We are not killing her off because she’s a character we would like to have back at some point.”

    i will really miss jenna – lousie coleman she brought something different to the show i hope she does well but i would really like it if she came back one day cause i think it might become really boring without her but good luck

    I know they say they’re not killing her off, but I think I can predict what’s going to happen… you know the whole gun storyline with Eli and Sandy? And how Eli jumps for Jasmine and Sandy shoots? Well I think he accidentally shoots Jasmine and she either dies or has to go to hospital where she will be met by police!
