Everyone seems to be singing about their rear ends these days. Nicki Minaj, anyone?
And now, Jennifer Lopez and Iggy Azalea are getting in on the rear end action with their newest collaboration, and it’s pretty awesome.
The ‘Live It Up’ singer and the ‘Problem’ rapper have teamed up on the remix of JLo’s new single, ‘Booty’. Jennifer announced the plans whenever she got a chance at the VMA’s on Sunday night – on the red carpet, and even during her performance introduction.
The original version of the sexy track, which features on Lopez’s latest album ‘AKA’, featured the American Idol judge’s long-time friend Pitbull on rapping duty. However, we’ve got to say it, the girl power on this new mix makes it SO much better than the original.
Lopez debuted the single’s artwork, which you can check out above, on Twitter yesterday, along with the very inventive hashtags “#jlobooty, #aintseenabootylikethissincejennyfromtheblock and #jloiggybooty.”
Never one to be left out, Azalea also took to social media to promote the new track. The star posted the short video below to her official Instagram page, and had nothing but nice things to say about working with the mum of twins. “#BigBootyRmx can’t wait till you see the video”, she wrote, “j [JLo] killllllllled it. She is perfection. #WhataGoddess #ImJustHappy2BeHere”
Lopez first broke the news of her newest collaboration at the MTV Video Music Awards over the weekend. Lopez took to the stage to introduce the ‘Fancy’ singer and Rita Ora ahead of their performance of their new single, ‘Black Widow’.
The single is yet to receive an official release date.
