Actress Jennifer Morrison is leaving House. The star plays Cameron on the hit medical show and is set to leave during the upcoming season.

What makes it pretty sad is that Morrison didn’t actually want to leave, she was written out of the show by the producers. She won’t be killed off and may make a guest appearance later in the season.

No doubt this will have something to do with her husband Chase taking part in an assisted suicide. We already know that he doesn’t tell her about his decision and it obviously spells the end for their short marriage.

I have been browsing some fan sites and forums while researching this and it seems that already, the fans are up in arms. Cameron seems to be the show’s most popular female character and many people are threatening to stop watching if this loss to the cast occurs. What do you think of the shock departure?
