Jennifer Saunders As Doctor Who
The Sun has today shocked and surprised Doctor Who fans by reporting that actress Jennifer Saunders is set to be the next Doctor Who.
Apparently, Jennifer will appear as the timelord in one show only and a source told the newspaper:
“She’s in the running and we all think she would be fantastic.”
It’s going to take me a while to get my head round this…..

The problem with Doctor Who is that entire races cannot simply remain dead.
Last season we discovered that The Doctor was ‘not alone’, until the Master got himself shot and refused to regenerate. Now there’s a female Time Lord (or is that Time Lady?) knocking about the universe.
The biggest problem? The Doctor’s bragging in one episode that if they were alive ‘he would feel them’. Now every Time Lord that returns will do so via a Chameleon Arch…
