We told you yesterday that a couple had presented some of the tabloids with pictures of Top Gear host, Jeremy Clarkson allegedly using his mobile phone whilst driving at 70 mph.
The Thames Valley police have taken action on the allegations and have made a statement saying that they may bring charges against the outspoken Sun columnist.
A spokesman for Thames Valley Police said: “We have been handed the photograph and we will be looking at it with a view to a possible prosecution.
“If we have got evidence we think could be supported in court, we will take action.”
