Jessica Capshaw says Grey’s Anatomy is ‘heavy’ without George

Grey’s Anatomy newest full timer, Jessica Capshaw, has admitted that this season will be ‘heavy’ after the death of Dr George O’Malley.

George was killed off at the end of the last season and TR Knight’s refusal to return to the show for the start of season three, means that the show will be without George from the outset.

Jessica who plays Dr Arizona Robbins told Eonline that O’Malley’s death will hit the medical staff hard but also revealed that there will be some light hearted moments on the show. One of those feel good storylines being Arizona and callie’s blossoming relationship.

I LOVE the chemistry between Callie and Arizona, much more than I liked Callie’s vibe with Erica. It will be nice to have some real romance in the season as something is bound to go majorly wrong between Meredith and Derek, after all how else can Ellen Pompeo take her maternity leave?
