Actor John Barrowman is busy writing a new Torchwood comic along with his sister.

Barrowman knows the TV show better most given that he plays Captain Jack Harkness in the Doctor Who spin-off series. He is currently in the process of creating a comic based on the series with the help his sister Carole E Barrowman.

“We hope fans love it as much as we do!” said John.

Torchwood comic editor Martin Eden said readers “are in for a treat”. He added: “I’m so excited to be working on this story ­ John and Carole are an absolute pleasure to work with.”

Torchwood magazine Issue 14 is on sale in the UK and Ireland on February 19.
