The ever offensive John McCririck has been kicked off Alan Titchmarsh’s ITV chat show for suggesting that Ingrid Tarrant is bad in bed.

The Daily Mirror reports that McCririck said: “You had a cheek to say he smelt of vindaloo and fish and chips in bed. You can’t be any good in bed, that’s why he strayed away.

“Poor old Chris Tarrant - look at what he had to work with if he was bad in bed.”

Alan, not known for his temper, is said to have immediately told John to leave the show, in a bid to protect Ingrid’s dignity.

The incident will be shown on Alan’s show this Thursday, 3PM on ITV1.
