The BBC have confirmed that John Simm will be returning to Doctor Who as ‘The Master.’

Simm had been papped on the set of Tennant’s final episode and his return was announced at yesterday’s Comic-Con and then confirmed by the beeb.

The BBC said: “At the close of series three we saw the Master gunned down by his wife and whilst lying in his enemy’s arms, he refused to regenerate.

“The world believed he had died and The Doctor accepted he was the last of the Time Lords. But this is Doctor Who and you can’t keep a good bad guy down!”

Another titbit that has been revealed is that John will return as a blonde, which may be a little strange. I wonder if ‘The Master’ will have anything to do with the tenth Doctor’s demise? All theories and comments welcomed below.
