John Thomson Joins Coronation Street
Former Cold Feet actor, John Thomson, has joined the cast of Coronation Street.
John will appear as a down-on-his-luck children’s entertainer called Jessie for three episodes next year, but bosses are hoping that he will extend his stay on the show.
A source told The Sun: “Getting John in Corrie is a coup. He is a fantastic actor and a very funny guy.
“He joins a long list of talented comedians who have made the switch to Corrie. He is guaranteed to bring a lot of humour on to Weatherfield’s cobbles.”
A Street spokesman said: “We are delighted John is joining us.”
