Former Coronation Street actor, Johnny Briggs was caught with his trousers round his ankles this weekend as The People newspaper exposed his night with a Thai prostitute on a recent holiday.

“There’s no fool like an old fool. I’m 72 and found all the attention very flattering,” Johnny told the newspaper. “To be honest, I think I was too p***ed to do anything. This was my first proper holiday as a single man and I got carried away with all the girls throwing themselves at me.”

“It’s all very embarrassing,” he added. “I’m sorry if I’ve caused any hurt to my family. I’ve only got myself to blame. I’m doing panto this year – this is going to look very bad.”
