Robin Hood and Teachers star, Jonas Armstrong, has apparently been charged with offences relating to being drunk and disorderly.

A preliminary hearing was held at Blackpool Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday, but the PA reports that Jonas did not attend.

It seems that he sent a letter to the court explaining that he couldn’t attend court as in he was “in London for an audition”.

The charges arose following an “incident” on April 26th at the star’s mother’s home in St Annes, Blackpool.

The case was adjourned until May 19th in order to allow him time to schedule making an appearance in court.

The PA report added, “His publicist said he would not be commenting on the matter.”
