Jonathan Ross Films Celebrity Apprentice Despite Ban

Jonathan Ross has spent this week filming for Comic Relief’s Celebrity Apprentice, despite the three month banned imposed on him by the BBC. Sir Alan approached Ross about being on the show last May.

A BBC insider told The Mirror: “Jonathan was in a difficult position as his suspension came just days before filming began on the show. Pulling out at such short notice would have left producers with a headache.”

A spokesman added: “The BBC agreed to Jonathan Ross taking part in an advance recording of Comic Relief Does The Apprentice. The BBC did not wish to disadvantage the charity.”

A bit of a bobo by Wossy but if you are in the spot light day in day out and your every move was scrutinized by the British public, you wouldn’t keep the country happy, well you probably would Dan.
