It’s been reported today that an ‘effigy’ of both Jonathan Ross and Russell Brand will be burnt during a Bonfire night celebration in Kent at the weekend.

The flammable likenesses of Ross and Brand have been created by artist Frank Shepherd for the Edenbridge Bonfire Society’s annual Guy Fawkes night celebrations. Apparently, Brand will be on a lead which Ross will be holding.

The society’s members suggested using the two Manuelgate presenters as their effigies due to the controversy caused by their leaving obscene messages on Andrew Sachs’s answering machine.

I think that’s a tad OTT, what say you?
