Julianne Margulies Turns Does ER Comeback
Actress Julianne Margulies has revealed that she turned down the chance to appear on the final season of ER.
Margulies played nurse Carol Hathaway from 1994 to 2000. Her character left the show to settle down with George Clooney’s character, Dr Doug Ross.
“I feel like I left Carol in the best scenario possible,” said the 42-year-old. “I can’t imagine making it any better than that.”
This is a blow to George Clooney fans who had hoped that the Hollywood stud would join with Antony Edwards (Mark Greene) and Noah Wyle (Dr John Carter) who will be returning for some of the shows final series.
