We thought we’d gotten away with any bad comments on Miley Cyrus but mark it on your calendar folks, it’s begun once again.
Kasabian are the latest artists to comment on the global superstar in reference to how she presents herself as a performer and her recent controversial actions.
Though everyone is entitled to their opinion, and we’ve all had them about Miley Cyrus we thought 2014 was getting off to a good start with everyone being sort of nice about each other.
It seems like the honeymoon period is well and truly over folks as in an interview with NME Kasabian have openly commented on the ‘Wrecking Ball’ star.
Guitarist Serge Pizzorno spoke to the magazine and explained that he believes that Miley Cyrus is just a product of everything that’s wrong with the music industry, or the money and fame-obsessed side of it.
He said: “I don’t really know what that world is, man. It’s just a f**king money making thing. We (the music industry) created Miley Cyrus, man, that’s our fault.”
“She’s just a fucking accumulation of internet porn, f**king hip-hop, f**king Disney world. She’s just a f**king nightmare of the 21st century.
He continued: “It’s not her fault, but we created that. The way she goes about her business, Twitter, all this bollocks, blows my mind.”
Kasabian frontman, Tom Meighan also added: “I’ll tell you something, my daughter’s not going to be anything like her, no way.”
Last week we reported that Kasabian haven’t been asked to perform at this years Glastonbury festival but the band admitted they wouldn’t say no if they got that call.
