The 56th Annual GRAMMYs are fast approaching and we already know that Daft Punk are to perform at the ceremony with guests Nile Rodgers, Pharrell Williams and Stevie Wonder.

Earlier today (7th January) on the official GRAMMYs Twitter account some more big names were added to the list of performers who will appear on the night.

The people at the GRAMMYs have announced today that viewers will get the opportunity to see the likes of Katy Perry, New Zealand star Lorde and Robin Thicke all perform on the night.

Information hasn’t been revealed as to what they’ll be performing but we know whatever they sing, they’ll put on a show.

The series of tweets posted can be seen below with Robin Thicke confirming his own performance.

Metallica could also be opening the night if an earlier tweet is to go by as they will be performing with pianist Lang Lang.

The 56th Annual GRAMMY Awards will be broadcast in full HD on the CBS Television Network from 8pm until 11:30pm (ET/PT) and Pink, Nate Ruess, Kendrick Lamar and Imagine Dragons are also set to perform.

The full list of nominees for the 56th Annual GRAMMY Awards can be seen here.
