Katy Perry is coming back to the UK next year with her ‘Prismatic World Tour’ and will be supported on the tour by Icona Pop.
The ‘Unconditionally’ songstress has began revealing more and more about the tour in regards to a statement she made where she said she’d be closer to fans than ever before.
On Tuesday Katy Perry appeared on the BBC Radio 1 Breakfast Show with Nick Grimshaw and discussed the tour.
Perry said that because of how the stage is designed she can be as close or as far away from her fans as she wants and today the beauty appeared on Capital FM and revealed some more.
The singer has revealed that the ‘Prismatic World Tour’ will be something that she’s never done before and put emphasis on the audience again saying they will be a key part.
Speaking to Capital FM she said: “The Prismatic world is what I’ll be offering you, my world that is very Prismatic! I love that I’m kicking it off here in the UK, so much so, because I’ve never done that and it raises the bar for me.”
She added: “I’m just really excited. I just did a big tour meeting yesterday and saw the graphic drawing of the stage and it’s unlike anything I’ve seen for any other artist and it’s unlike anything I’ve ever done.”
“It’s different, it’s fresh, it’s clean and it’s actually in the middle of the audience it feels like.”
The ‘Roar’ beauty also added: “I get to be close with them at all times. I’m going to bring all the bells and whistles like it was last time, but it won’t be so highly narrated. I just want a little bit more room to express myself.”
Katy Perry will begin her tour on the 7th of May in Belfast and will wrap things up on the 31st at London’s O2 arena. For a full list of tour dates then head on over here.
