Katy Perry, Taylor Swift, Drake, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis for Grammy Nominations Concert

The Grammy Nominations Concert Live is due to take place tomorrow (December 6th) and two big names have just been added to the bill – none other than Katy Perry and Taylor Swift.

The event, held at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles will welcome the likes of Drake, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis on stage for performances.

It has also been revealed that Katy Perry and Taylor Swift will also perform during the event in Los Angeles.

While the pair won’t be in attendance it has been announced that Katy Perry’s performance will be shown live from Canada while Taylor Swift’s performance will be shown from Australia.


Katy Perry tweeted to her followers earlier today (5th December) that she was under the weather but will be resting as much as she can:

“I…am…finally…sick. 😩😷 Gonna do my best but if I don’t stop as much as usual pls don’t take it personally kittens! Mommacat needs rest!”

The Nominations Concert will air tomorrow (Friday 6th December) on CBS at 10 p.m. ET/tape delay PT and will see LL Cool J (below) return as the host.

Competition has been tight for the 56th GRAMMYs this year as USA Today reports that 22,000 submissions were received by The Recording Academy with 17,000 being eligible with 12,000 voting members being sent ballots.

The 56th GRAMMYs themselves will take place on the 26th of January 2014 at the Staples Centre in Los Angeles and will welcome the  biggest names in music to recognise outstanding achievement.

Other performers set to appear include Earth, Wind & Fire and T.I. will join Robin Thicke while Australian singer-songwriter Lorde will also perform.
