Kay Burley Taking A Break From News Presenting
Kay Burley, Sky One newsreader is to take a break from her duties after falling ill on Tuesday of this week.
She became ill while presenting the programme on Tuesday afternoon. Wednesday afternoon’s broadcast was hosted by Andrew Wilson.
A Sky News spokesman said: “Kay was taken ill during her programme on Sky News yesterday afternoon.
“A first-aider and ambulance were called as a precaution. Kay is now fine, although she has been advised to rest for a few days.
“She will therefore be taking a short break from her presenting schedule.”
