Keith Lemon’s Very Brilliant World Tour showcases BAFTA nominated cult funny man Leigh Francis (Bo’ Selecta!) as alter ego, Keith Lemon (Business Man Of The Year 93) in his first ever show for ITV2. Each week viewers will follow Keith, as he takes time out from selling securipoles in Leeds to travel the world. Whilst his cousin Gary (Paddy McGuiness) holds the fort, Keith embarks upon his eclectic journey, set to discover traditional cultures that are totally alien to him. Keith Lemon’s Very Brilliant World Tour is brand new and exclusive to ITV2, Tuesdays from 11th March at 10pm.

He will sample local delicacies, visit infamous landmarks (both on and off the beaten track), as well as participating in traditional festivals with a level of enthusiasm unique only to Keith – all whilst the locals look on in total amazement. Keith’s aim is to “fatten his horizons and texturise his conversations” during this hybrid comedy/travel/reality show. Keith will visit USA, Mexico, Australia, Egypt, Japan and Iceland.

Keith will visit each country with a celebrity companion in convoy. Dermot O’Leary, The Kaiser Chiefs and Stephan Dennis (aka Paul Robinson from Neighbours) are just some of the names brave enough to meet up with him en route. But if Keith has his way, his companion will take the form of an uber sexy lady, where his biggest challenge will be to master the art of seduction. Throughout the series Keith will perform with the Chippendales for Mel B in Las Vegas and take a riverboat cruise with Tamsin Outhwaite in Japan. But it is not all plain sailing, as Keith must come to terms with being the father of Mel C’s love child, as well as being rejected from The X-Factor bootcamp by Sharon Osbourne.
