In a new four-part series Kevin McCloud follows an innovative community-led regeneration scheme in the former mining town of Castleford in Yorkshire.

He wants to find out if good design can help to kick-start regeneration and improve the quality of life of a town, and to see if the involvement of residents can add to the project’s chances of success. The series follows the triumphs and tribulations of the process, looks at the reality of regeneration and finds out what residents and experts make of the experience.
