Sex In The City actress, Kim Cattrall is to play the mother of Harry Potter star, Daniel Radcliffe in a new ITV1 drama.

The drama will be called My Boy Jack in which Daniel plays the soldier son of writer Rudyard Kipling

ITV drama chief Laura Mackie said: “Having won the heart of millions in Sex And The City as Samantha, it’s a real thrill to welcome Kim to ITV1.

“The part of Caroline Kipling will see her in a completely different role, and illustrates our commitment to bold and inventive casting.”

The show will be shot in Dublin this summer.
