Sky have announced today that they have lined up Kirsty Gallacher and Ian Wright to present their remake of the popular 90’s TV show, Gladiators.

Sky One will be building one of the biggest studio sets in UK television history to house the Gladiators arena, and the two hosts will preside over the contest as 24 contenders take on one of TVs toughest challenges in the hope of becoming crowned champion.

Wright said: “Gladiators is a great show and I am thrilled to be involved.

“Since people first heard it was coming back, the response has been phenomenal and I am so excited that a new generation get to experience it.”

Gallacher added: “I grew up with Gladiators so I couldn’t be more excited to be involved in the new series.

“It promises to be great entertainment on a major scale and I can’t wait to get started.”
