Sought after actress Kristen Bell has confirmed that she has accepted a role in Sci-Fi hit series Heroes.

The star turned down a role in US Drama Lost in order to work on Heroes, and will make her debut on US screens in October.

Although we have not yet found out whether her character will be good or bad, her storyline begins with her committing a serious crime.

Heroes creator Tim Kring said he was delighted that they landed the sought-after star.

“This was not easy to pull off,” he said. “But since we’re an ensemble show, with many arcs playing out through the year, we found a way to jump into a small window in (Kristin’s) schedule.”
