Lady Gaga has returned to music following hip surgery which forced her to cancel a list of shows on her tour.

Returning with her latest single ‘Applause’ Lady Gaga wowed audiences in the US at the MTV VMAs and in London at the iTunes Festival when she returned for a performance of material from her new album ‘ARTPOP’.

Speaking in various interviews the past few weeks Lady Gaga has spoken about her road to recovery, how she hid from her fans during recovery and previous drug use – and how she didn’t want her Little Monsters to follow what seems to be a trend right now in pop culture.

Now, the star has spoken in an interview and revealed that in the past she has experimented with women and despite the fact she is dating Taylor Kinney (The Vampire diaries) she does like women too.

Speaking to Andy Cohen, host of US TV show ‘Watch What Happens Live’ Lady Gaga said: “Well, I’ve taken a few dips in the lady pond. I like girls. I’ve said that.”

The ‘Born This Way’ star also spoke about how she finds lesbians more “daring” than men.

She went on to say: “For me, it’s similar to how I feel about guys. It’s more of an energy thing. I used to go to lesbian clubs all the time.”

“I like them because I find lesbians to be way more daring than straight men, when it comes to coming on to you. And I really like that. And it wasn’t until I found a guy that could come onto me as strong as a lesbian that I fell in love.”

Lady Gaga also mentioned the recent controversy that 20 year old Miley Cyrus has sparked and said that people should leave her alone:

“She’s 20 years old, and if anything, I give her props because she’s growing up in front of the entire world and maybe she’s not so happy with the things that she did in her career when she was younger and she wants to be free,” she said. “Let her do what she wants.”
