Lady Gaga is due to release her fourth studio album ‘ARTPOP on the 11th of November and will feature the songs that the star performed at the iTunes Festival at the beginning of the month.

The ‘Applause’ star has revealed on Twitter that she is putting the finishing touches to the new album.

Lady Gaga returned to the music scene following surgery she required on her injured hip and released her new single ‘Applause’ which is lifted from the new album ‘ARTPOP’.

The star performed ‘Applause’ at this years MTV VMAs before taking to the stage at the Roundhouse in London to perform a stream of new material from the forthcoming album.

As the deadline approaches though the star has revealed on Twitter that everything is being checked over before she hands it over ahead of the release:

“OK its exactly 6 days till I have to turn in ARTPOP. SONGS check SEASHELLS check MONSTERS check INHALER for album separation anxiety check.”

Late last week Lady Gaga also discussed the cover art for ‘ARTPOP’ and said how that this was her favourite to date and that she couldn’t wait for everyone to see it:

“The album cover is still being perfected and will come out sometime in the next two weeks! *im not allowed to tell you exactly when yet* I will say its my FAVORITE of all my album covers, and I am so excited to show you!”

She also took to Twitter last week to answer fans questions and commented on ‘ARTPOP’ saying it is:

“a psychedelic-pop journey, an album trip that represents my love of popmusic while exploding and pushing its ‘artificial’ limits.”

Adam Lambert will reportedly perform a Lady Gaga song when he makes a special appearance on hit TV show Glee. Rumours have been squashed though that said he will play a drag queen.
