whilst i agree that this episode of eastenders was a bit rubbish, it’s not fair to have a go at lorna fitzgerald, who will have been playing abi for 3 years this friday. she is far and away the best young actress this country has produced in years and makes rosie and sophie webster look as wooden as an average thunderbirds puppet. i hope that she stays in albert square for a long time yet. she is brilliant, so keep going lorna !!!! and happy anniversary. the worst offenders in that episode were john altman and molly conlin…now they were wooden. all nasty nick needed was a handle bar moustache to twiddle with as he made his exit from the cafe. i also conceed that the explosion was a bit naff, but all the other actors did well in my opinion, including maddie as lauren. and they can only work with the script that they are given. lorna did well in my humble opinion. she always does.

I completely agree with everything you’ve wrote here.
The acting really was rotten. Eastenders has been going downhill slightly for a while. I hope these writers see sense soon cause I’m still a big fan of Eastenders.

I agreed with every single comment made there!! i actually had to google Eastenders explosion episode bad acting (and this was the first source) cos i was worried I was the only one who saw how bad the acting was. It was so stiff and fake but I do enjoy watchin Enders, was great entertainment, but not how the scriptwriters wanted it haha!
