The worst thing was that everyone seemed to find it funny and was laughing when she was trying to reach out of the cage for her baby. I think the women concerned do have severe emotional/mental issues and that these monkeys - though living in the pay of luxury, are constantly subject to mental abuse. I agree, the bit where the baby was taken to say goodbye to its mother, with the words "This is the last time you will see your baby" was particularly hard to watch, as the mother was clearly distressed, and I was surprised that she didn't do more damage to the microphone foam. My heart went out to her. I feel sick to think that these monkeys are not being given the right to live their life as nature intended, fed an unsuitable diet and dressed up like freaks of nature, all to satisfy human desire. The ones to whom most blame lies with are the breeders who supply the "Babies" in the first place, and profit from such a cruel venture. I cannot understand why there would not be a law against this?? Ok I have had my rant! But it was a shocker!
