Just in case you missed it……..

Fiz, being the kind soul she is, went with philandering ex-teacher John to his Grandmother’s funeral. Later, back at his Gran’s house, John asked her if she thought there was any chance they may get back together and she said she thought there might be.

Back on the street, Rita decided to confront Emily about the ‘risque’ photos of herself that Norris found when he covertly read Emily’s will. It seems that Emily’s long dead hubby, Ernest, took the photos of Rita many years ago and Rita was worried that Emily had been harbouring suspicions all these years that she and Ernest had been having an affair.

This wasn’t the case and Emily explained to Rita that she’d intended to give her the pictures years ago but had mislaid them. She remembered that she’d last looked at them around the time she made her will so the mystery’s solved. She never suspected there was anything between Ernest and Rita so now she’s got to decide how best to deal with Norris and his snooping ways.

Liam was jealous of the fact that Tom was taking Carla to look at lock up units for their new business venture. He wanted to go with them but fearing that if Maria found out it’d be the end for them, he chose not to go.

Mel got a visit from her friend and fellow police officer Abi who informed her that she was probably going to quit the police force. Abi suffered damage to the back of her eye when the two were recently attacked by a gang of girls and can no longer be a ‘street’ police officer. She told Mel that she’d prefer to leave the force if she can’t be a ‘proper copper’.
