Leonard Nimoy LOVED Shooting Fringe

Leonard Nimoy

Screen legend Leonard Nimoy says he had a “delicious time” filming his role on American Sci-Fi drama Fringe.

The Star Trek will play Massive Dynamic founder William Bell for the conclusion of the first series of the show. Bell has been much discussed on the show thus far but never seen.

The 78-year-old said: “I had a delicious time on this episode – I like the position they have given me, I like the enigma of this character.”

Leonard said he wouldn’t adverse to starring in additional episodes “when they call me”.

Nimoy took the job after meeting the show’s co-creator JJ Abrams when he returned as Spock in the new Star Trek film, which Abrams directed.

The actor had never seen Fringe before but was impressed with the show after watching a few episodes.

“It’s not unlike any other show that’s ever been done,” he said. “It’s just that the execution is so much more thoughtful and theatrical than what I’ve seen in the past.”
