Thanks to a remix from Robin Schulz ‘Prayer In C’ remains top of the charts

Since 4pm BBC Radio 1 have been counting down the Top 40 singles in the UK and they have just confirmed that Lilly Wood & Robin Schulz remain at the top for a second week.

Their track ‘Prayer In C’ shot to the top of the charts last week after it was remixed by German DJ and producer Robin Schulz and they’re holding on for a second week.

‘Prayer In C’ has already topped the charts across various European countries and will mark the second time Robin has topped the charts in the UK – his first was a re-working of Mr Probz’ hit summer track ‘Waves’ back in May.

Unfortunately for Duke Dumont who looked like he could steal the top spot he finishes at Number (2) this week with his new single ‘Won’t Look Back’.

The Official Charts Company have revealed that the track climbed 167 places this week following its full release and marks the third single from the London producer.

New at Number (3) this week are The Script with their latest single ‘Superheroes’ which is the first single to be lifted from their fourth album ‘No Sound Without Silence’.

For Iggy Azalea and Rita Ora they have jumped three places on the Official Singles Chart into Number (4) with their single ‘Black Widow’

Meanwhile Sam Smith is at Number (5) with ‘I’m Not The Only One’ – the latest single to be lifted from his debut album ‘In The Lonely Hour’.

G.R.L debut at Number (11) with their single ‘Ugly Heart’. The entry into the Official Singles Chart follows the tragic death of one of the group’s singers Simone Battle who died yesterday aged 25.

The final new entry on the Official Singles Chart this week comes from Berlin producer Oliver Dollar who is at Number (15) with ‘Pushing On’. Check out this week’s number one single below.
