At this mid week Official Singles Chart update Lily Allen doesn’t look set to remain at the top of the charts if Calvin Harris and Alesso have anything to do with it.

On Sunday Lily Allen topped the charts with ‘Somewhere Only We Know’ which is featured on this years John Lewis Christmas advert but ‘Under Control’ by Calvin Harris, Alesso and Hurts looks set to take the crown.

According to the Official Charts Company ‘Under Control’ by Calvin Harris, Alesso and Hurts currently leads the Official Singles Chart race tonight and this is just another milestone for Scottish DJ Calvin Harris.

Calvin Harris has already knocked up nine Top 10 hits from his current album but he doesn’t show any signs of slowing down as he looks set to top the charts again but with Swedish DJ Alesso and Hurts on vocals.

At Number (2) this week is ‘Love Is On The Radio’ by McFly who recently announced supergroup ‘McBusted’ with Busted and a massive 2014 tour across the UK.

McBusted also recorded a special version of ‘Love Is On The Radio’ but both versions are combined in the same chart spot.

‘Story of My Life’ by One Direction falls into Number (3) this week while they’re third studio album ‘Midnight Memories’ looks set to become the fastest selling album of 2013.
