Singer Lily Allen has admitted that she almost missed out on the chance to star on Australian soap, Neighbours.

Speaking to WENN about guesting on the show, Lily revealed: “It was really weird but poor Todd, my manager, always has to… pass on things. People will send him requests and… he runs them pass me… every couple of weeks.”

She added: “[He] went, ‘Neighbours called, they wanted you to go and be in a scene for the day, so obviously I passed’. I said, ‘What are you talking about? Why would you do that? Neighbours is brilliant!’. So we did and we flew out there.”
