Lipstick Jungle is said to be going the same way as last year’s Journeyman and has been cancelled by US TV network NBC.

The Hollywood Reporter says that American network NBC made the decision after the second series hit a new ratings low in recent weeks. The Sex And The City-style drama starring Brooke Shields was averaging 4.2 million viewers per episode – not enough to warrant a new series.

But Brooke Shields claimed that many more people watched the show via Tivo and other recording services.
